Short and Efficient Synthesis of Oxazinone- and Thiazinone-Containing Bicyclic Heteroaromatic Aldehydes

Abstract Short and efficient route for the synthesis of oxazinone- and thiazinone-containing bicyclic heteroaromatic aldehydes, which involves the key step of palladium-catalyzed reductive carbonylation, is described.
