Engelsiz yaşam özel eğitim ve rehabilitasyon merkezi çalışanlarının fiziksel aktivite düzeyi ve yaşam kalitesi arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi

Aim: The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between physical activity levels and life satisfaction of barrier-free special education and rehabilitation center employees. Material and Methods : International Physical Activity Questionnaire Short Form” was used to determine the physical activity level of the participants, and “SF-36 Quality of Life Scale” was used to determine the quality of life. SPSS 21.0 program, T-test and One-Way ANOVA were used for data analysis. Results: According to the results of the study, the average weekly energy consumption of the participants was 2443.31 ± 2314.2 MET-min / week, 15.7% inactive level, 49.4% minimal active level and 31.2% very active level. There was a statistically significant difference between the participants' physical activity levels according to gender classification (p 0.05). There was no significant difference in quality of life scores according to marital status, smoking habit and alcohol consumption (p>0.05). Quality of life scores of the participants with different physical activity levels; while there was a statistically significant difference in emotional role scores (p 0.05). Conclusion:  According to the results of the study, the physical activity levels of the participants were minimally active and there was a significant difference only in emotional role between the quality of life sub-dimensions according to physical activity levels.
