The application of digital correlation technology in laser Doppler velocimeter

Laser Doppler velocimeter(LDV) will be a good kind of speed sensor,and the processing of Doppler signal plays a very critical role in the whole system.This article proposes a method of applying the digital correlation technology in LDV.Through the processing of self-correlation to Doppler signal,we can eliminate the noise interference.Simulations and experiments indicate that the technology has greatly improved SNR of Doppler signal,reduced system's request for SNR of signal,improved the noise-proof feature and the sensibility of system.This application creates conditions for the design of high-accuracy LDV.
