Vómitos y diarreas en perros canis domesticus sus causas consecuencias e importancia de su control

2017
Vomiting and diarrhea in canines are functional signs that are frequently observed at an early age. They appear secondarily to various alterations of the gastrointestinal and non-gastrointestinal system. Many diseases can cause this symptomatology (vomiting and diarrhea) in dogs, including viral, bacterial, parasitic, poisoning, poisoning, tumors and obstructions, including liver, pancreatic and renal diseases of the nervous and endocrine system, Which tend to present these signs, causing serious disturbances in the animal's organism, causing it to lose water and important electrolytes, causing a loss and a hydroelectrolytic imbalance as well as an imbalance of the acid-base balance. These signs appear in dogs of all races and ages, generally adult dogs support this symptom more strongly, but not in early ages, since the puppies do not have a fully formed immune system and their body response is still weak. Although some breeds seem to be predisposed to suffer from this disease as are the German Shepherd and Boxer. As a drug treatment for puppies, we have as a first point and perhaps the most important hydration, whether via venous or oral route in case of diarrhea, since in vomiting the hydration will have to be strictly via venous. The hydration will depend on the decompensation of the animal, then the medication is accompanied by antibiotics, antiemetics, antidiarrheals, modulators of motility, liver and gastric protectors, vitamins, minerals, and sometimes desparasitantes. The following paper explains the causes, control, and treatment to be followed in the presence of vomiting and diarrhea in dogs.
