Methyl 6-chloro-2-methyl-4-phenyl­quinoline-3-carboxyl­ate

In the title compound, C18H14ClNO2, the quinoline ring system is planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.032 A) and the phenyl ring is twisted away from it by 57.5 (1)°. The crystal structure is stabilized by weak C—H⋯π inter­actions.
