A Novel Position Sensor of Portable Ultrasonic C-Scan System

In order to acquire the position information of the probe in the portable ultrasonic C-Scan system, a novel photoelectric position sensor is developed which is based on the principle of photoelectric mouse. A new device in the windows 2000 system, position sensor, is defined by developing a HID Class lower-filter driver. The new device driver program and INF document are coded and finished. The user application program can be coded to achieve the position information of the probe based on the new device and its driver program.
