The invention relates to a steering system (1) of a motor vehicle, having a steering handle (2) for providing a steering wheel angle (δ_S) as a measure of a desired steering angle (δ_F) for at least one steerable wheel (12, 13) of the motor vehicle. The steering system (1) further comprises superimposing means (9) for generating an additional angle (δ_M) and for superimposing the steering-wheel angle (δ_S) with the additional angle (δ_M). A pinion angle (δ_G) results from the sum of the steering wheel angle (δ_S) and the additional angle (δ_M). Finally, the steering system (1) comprises a steering gear (4) for converting the pinion angle (δ_G) into a corrected steering angle (δ_F) for the at least one steerable wheel (12, 13) of the motor vehicle.
