Radiation protection in the environment (refresher course), 13th International Congress of the International Radiation Protection Association.

The International Radiation Protection Association (IRPA) is an international organisation for the profession of radiological protection. Their International Congress attracts a high proportion of attendees from industry and following publication of the IAEA Interim Basic Safety standards (2012), more industries are becoming aware of the need to demonstrate protection of the environment. The 13th International Congress was attended by 1500 scientific delegates from 74 different countries, together with around 100 Accompanying Persons and 200 exhibitors.
