A series of 3,6-diaryl-7 H -[1,2,4]triazolo[3,4- b ][1,3,4]thiadiazines containing 2-alkoxyphenyl in position 6 and substituted phenyl radicals in position 3 have been synthesized by the interaction of 4-amino-5-(2-alkoxyphenyl)-4 H -[1,2,4]-triazole-3-thioles with substituted fenacylbromides in the presence of potassium hydroxide or by ingenuous interaction of thiols with fenacylbromides. A relationship between the chemical structure and antibacterial activity of the obtained 6-(2’-alkoxyphenyl)-3-aryl-7 H -[1,2,4]triazolo[3,4- b ][1,3,4]thiadiazines has been established on the basis of biological test results.
