A Fully Integrated O-band Coherent Optical Receiver Operating up to 80 Gb/s

This paper presents an O-band QPSK coherent receiver, consisting of a dual-polarization silicon photonic receiver and a dual-channel electronic integrated circuit with receiver chain and Costas loop. Measurements are performed at 56 Gb/s and 80 Gb/s, and the receiver performance is characterized in terms of error vector magnitude (EVM) and estimated bit-error ratio (BER).
