Necesidades, expectativas y requerimientos para la formación avanzada de directivos y docentes

An investigation was carried out with the purpose of making a critical reading of the needs, expectations and requirements for the advanced training, in the field of educational management, of the directors and teachers of an educational institution; in perspective of setting up advanced training scenarios, which contribute to the improvement of educational quality. This research is framed within educational ethnography, and the main information collection technique that was used was participant observation; In addition, the following techniques were used: questionnaires, interview (unstructured) and documentary analysis. When analyzing the characteristics of an educational establishment that improves permanently, weaknesses were evident, and consequently training needs: in the design, planning, implementation and evaluation of the curriculum that promotes learning in the classroom (academic management). In the promotion of collaborative relationships and collective commitment with actions that impact the community (community management).
