Electrical and magnetic properties of γγ-Fe2O3 epitaxial films

We have investigated electrical and magnetic properties of γγ-Fe2O3 (0 0 1) epitaxial films. Resistivity of the film was ∼102Ωcm at room temperature. The temperature dependent resistivity seemed to follow the three-dimensional variable-range-hopping model. Moreover, ferromagnetic resonance experiment revealed that magnetic anisotropy of cubic and uniaxial terms were -1.3×104-1.3×104 and 2.7×105erg/cm3, respectively. This result is qualitatively consistent with our Mossbauer experiment and magnetization measurements.
