Plug connector and socket connector

The invention discloses a plug connector (100), which comprises a plug insulated body, a plurality of terminals accommodated in the plug insulated body, a cable electrically connected with the corresponding terminals and a shielding body covering the plug insulated body, wherein the plurality of terminals comprise a plurality of first terminals with flat plate-shaped contact parts and a plurality of second terminals with elastic contact parts; the plug connector is provided with an accommodating cavity and accommodating space arranged in an overlapped mode along the vertical direction; the first terminals are located in the accommodating space; the second terminals are located in the accommodating cavity for transmitting high-speed signals; the bottom surface of the plug insulated body is downwardly provided with a slot; the plug connector is also provided with an additional terminal; and the additional terminal is accommodated in the slot. As the plug connector is provided with the additional terminal protruding out of the bottom part of the plug insulated body, the general structure of the plug connector cannot be changed, and the repeated mould opening fee is reduced.
