The present invention relates in particular preforms a method for producing, by draping fiber on a layup surface, comprising applying a binder on at least one fiber (91) dry continuous flat having two main faces (91a, 91b ) opposite and draping of said fiber with binder by means of a lay-up head to form a preform. The application of binder to a fiber is performed by means of at least one fiberizing nozzle (50) comprising a discharge port (53) supplied with liquid or pasty binder, and one or more injection orifices (57) fed with pressurized gas, such that said nozzle is adapted to deliver the binder in the form of a spiral filament (92), the filament windings are deposited on a first main face (91a) of the fiber passing under the nozzle to obtain a fiber with filaments (93, 94) of binder.
