Kinegrami v mladinski književnosti

2021
This article presents the results of a study on kinegrams in six select literary works for readers in the second and third triads of primary school. Kinegrams are a special type of set phrases that are linguistic representations of non-verbal behaviour. The article describes the lexical, semantic, and textual roles of kinegrams. They are used to illustrate feelings, subjective experiences, and responses in certain situations. The results show that kinegrams are explained by paraphrases or used in combination with similes. This article presents the wording of nonverbal expressions and their contributions to the stylistic and visual diversity of literary works for young readers.
