Online application charging method and system

The embodiment of the invention discloses an online application charging method and system. The method includes the steps that a charging confirmation instruction is returned to an application client by an online application server; the application client establishes communication with a charging gateway, and a charging confirmation page is pushed to the application client by the charging gateway; after a user sends a confirmation message, the charging gateway sends the user confirmation message to a service management platform; a temporary order relationship is generated by the service management platform, and a temporary charging confirmation ID is allocated; the temporary charging confirmation ID is forwarded to the online application server by the charging gateway through the application client; the online application server sends a charging request to the service management platform through the charging gateway; whether the temporary order relationship totally matched with a user ID, a product ID and the temporary charging confirmation ID in the charging request exists or not is judged by the service management platform through comparison; if the temporary order relationship totally matched with the user ID, the product ID and the temporary charging confirmation ID in the charging request exists, charging is performed based on the charging request. According to the online application charging method and system, user confirmation charging can be achieved on the premise that online application service is not interrupted.
