El rol del Docente en la calidad de la educación universitaria en las Ciencias de la salud

From the theory of knowledge, quality in education has played an important role that has
allowed significant advance in different fields of learning. This paper is an epistemological
reflection describing some aspects of the quality of Health Sciences education inside
universities, in which teachers of different disciplines are invited to internalize fundamental
elements in the quality of teaching process that stimulate student's learning. Innovation,
creativity, research, values, ethics, and ITCs are used in order to contribute to the formation
of professionals from different disciplines of college education that strength the progress of
a country. This paper highlights professor’s characteristics which aim to reinforce of
attributes and strategies which allow successful implementation of competence based
curriculum established within different institutions of college education using some
published sources from different perspectives of scientific research in order to achieve
integral formation in the student. At the same time, strengthens particularities that
distinguish them as good professors in the development of different theoretical and practice
tasks which are carried on in educational institutions.
