Method and priority node to establish connections in telecommunications networks.

Method for establishing a priority connection in a telecommunication network with a plurality of nodes (1-4) for processing the connection, wherein the nodes (1-4) comprise resources which can be assigned for processing the connection and a timer to monitor the establishment of connection, expiration or expiration of the timer releasing the resources attributed to the connection, wherein said first of said nodes (1-4) receives a request to establish a connection priority, wherein the first node (1) selects a first of said timers according to an expiry value specified for priority connections, the first node (1) sends an indication of the connection priority and an indication queuing for selecting the timer to a further node (2) processing the connection, and the further node (2) checks whether an indication of a connection priority and a queuing and selection is received to, according to the result of the check, an additional timer to the above, according to an expiry value specified for priority connections.
