The invention relates to a method for tempering a molding tool (16) and a mold (16), wherein a first stream (22) is passed tempering channel (14) of a temperature located by a first in the mold (16) to (a first region (19, 20) of the mold (16) to control the temperature, and wherein a second current (23) of a temperature by a second (in the mold 16) located tempering channel 23) is routed to a second region (20, 21) of the mold to control the temperature (16). The first and the second region (19, 20, 21) overlap at least partially and the flow directions of the overlapping area (20) include adjacent first stream (22) and to the overlapping area (20) adjacent the second stream (23) with each other an angle of more than 90 °.
