Оценка эффективности инвестиций в основные фонды отраслевых комплексов экономики России

The paper analyzes the effectiveness of investment in fixed assets of industrial complexes. Based on Rosstat’s statistical data as of 2011-2015, a system of indices has been developed to characterize the financial security of industrial complexes in order to create conditions for increasing the economic efficiency of expanding production capacities as one of the key factors of economic development. The data obtained makes it possible to assess the balance of economic growth potentials of sectoral complexes, which helps to increase their diversification level in the domestic market, and demonstrates significant disparities in the growth potentials. The analysis shows that the economic efficiency of an industrial complex depends on the investment index (investment-to-value-added ratio). It is stated that the significant imbalance in the index of fixed capital investment does not contribute to improving the efficiency of inter-industry interactions.
