Ultrasonic and Acoustic Emission Study of High Modulus Fibres and Microplastics Based on the Fibres
1991
A dynamic Young’s modulus of samples of high modulus fibres SHM (Super High Modulus), Armos and one-dimensional microplastics (MCP) based on the fibres with a hardened epoxy resin has been studied by an ultrasonic (US) acoustic method at temperatures ranging from 20 to 300 ℃. And-relaxation has been investigated by US acoustic and acoustic emission (AE) methods. An outstripping Keiser’s effect has been detected.
