An Approach of K-Barrier Coverage of WSN for Mine

In this paper, background the environment of coal mine, we present K-barrier coverage wireless sensor network (WSN) based on redundancy routing protocol, node deployment strategy and optimized physical topology. The proposed node deployment strategy achieves high-accuracy localization and high-reliable communication. And it is proved to supply k-barrier coverage by the formula. Hierarchical topology control is used to constructing virtual backbone of k-barrier coverage WSN, generating an efficient logical network topology for data forwarding. Simulation of k-barrier WSN localization system of coal mine is implemented. The results show that the system is k-barrier and the virtual backbone greatly improves the efficiency of network data forwarding and improves the network survival.
