Solid state power controller and fault current record method

The invention relates to a solid state power controller and a fault current record method. The method comprises steps that current signals are sampled, and current sampling values are acquired; a largest current value of the current sampling values between a start point of a half window length before a half window length of a present sampling location and the present sampling location is acquired and stored; whether a current sampling value of the present sampling location is abnormal is determined, if yes, the abnormal current sampling value and the largest current value corresponding to the present sampling location are acquired and stored, if not, a next current signal is waited for. Through the method, the current value at the fault time is stored, an overcurrent degree at the fault time can be known, moreover, a current peak before overcurrent can be known according to the stored outputted fault current and the largest current value before a fault, and thereby a current trend can be generally determined to be a surge type or a continuous increase type.
