Characters and Analysis of Virus Myocarditis of Children

Objective To approach the clinical features and treatment methods of VMC,In order to provide clinical basis for the future diagnosis and treatment of VMC.Methods We collected and retrospective analyzed clinical data of 158 patients who had been proved to be VMC from 2007.1 to 2010.1 in Zhengzhou city children’s hospital.Results In the data,The infant group and the child care group has the highest incidence accounting for 38.0% and 24.7% each;Disease mainly in sum-mer season,accounting for 40.5%;92.4% of patients had history of respiratory tract infection;The mainly symptom of VMC is precordial discomfort,chest tightness,chest pain,long sigh,and whole body fatigue,etc.X-ray for heart-chest ratio examination positive in 21 cases,accounting for 13.3%;7 cases of abnormal cardiac ultrasound;ECG positive in 108 cases,accounting for 68.35%;HOLTER examined 47 patients,33 patients were positive,accounting for 70.21%;CK increased in 25 cases,accounting for 15.8%;CK-MB increased in 138 cases;LDH increased in 96 cases;AST increased in 58 cases;HBDH increased in 41 cases;NT-proBNP increased in 67 cases;CVB anti-body positive in 101 cases,accounting for 63.9%;All patients with combined therapy were cured.Conclusion The clinical manifestation of pediatric VMC is diversity,summer is predilection season,infant and child care age account most;HOLTER examination could help early diagnosis of the dis-ease;comprehensive treatment has significant effect.
