Demonstration Project for Scour Instrumentation

A Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Demonstration Project was developed to facilitate technology transfer of instrumentation related research to the highway industry. The objective of the Demonstration Project is to promote at the state and local level the use of new and innovative equipment to measure and monitor scour at bridges. This paper summarizes the instrumentation that will be demonstrated in both workshop and field settings.
