A tobacco leaf sorting machine based on machine vision comprises a tobacco leaf conveying device, grading devices and sorting devices, wherein the grading devices comprise a tobacco leaf information acquisition device and an information processor for performing grading processing on tobacco leaf information acquired by the information acquisition device; the sorting devices comprise a controller and a sorting mechanism; the information acquisition device, the information processor, the controller and the sorting mechanism are mounted above the tobacco leaf conveying device through a bracket and distributed in the tobacco leaf conveying direction sequentially; the information acquisition device acquires the tobacco information, and the controller is used for controlling the sorting mechanism after the tobacco information is processed by the information processor; and the sorting mechanism comprises a plurality of motors, crank and rocker mechanisms and mechanical arms which are arranged in the tobacco leaf conveying direction sequentially, and the motors are controlled by the controller and drive the mechanical arms to work through the crank and rocker mechanisms. By means of the tobacco leaf sorting machine based on machine vision, the tobacco leaf grading problem can be effectively solved, the grade of the tobacco leaf is accurately judged, and errors caused during tobacco leaf judgment by human eyes are reduced.
