POI search, identification and navigation

A computer-implemented navigation method for navigating a vehicle to a point of interest (POI) or more points of interest (POIs) including at least one vehicle computer (1) which is configured to the effect, during navigation on a navigation route: to give a vehicle driver can enter a reference point, which is not based on the navigation route to identify one or more POIs; or receive a plurality of search parameters in order to receive one or more points of interest with respect to the reference point; to receive sorting criteria for sorting the POI, wherein the sorting criteria, at least one of the criteria of estimating, a price, a time, an alphabetical order or a reverse alphabetical order include; to identify the one or more POI of interest, based on the search parameters, the sort criteria and the reference point; receiving a selection of the one of the plurality of POI or POIs based on the sort criteria; a new navigation route to the selected POI or POIs selected in response to the selection to calculate and represent the new navigation route.
