Commentary: Reflections of a grumpy old psychiatrist

This summer, I was visited by an old friend from the UK with whom I trained back in the '70s. Our collegial discourse naturally gravitated to the 'good old days' back in London and despite rather different career trajectories it was striking that we had come to very similar conclusions about the evolution and state of our art over the past forty years.
