Effect of addition of azomethane on oxidation of the simplest hydrocarbons under the effect of laser radiation
1990
Complex gas-phase reactions of conversion of hydrocarbon-oxygen mixtures in the presence of an initiator (azomethane) in conditions of laser heating were investigated. The kinetics of consumption of the starting hydrocarbon and accumulation of products of the reaction were studied. It was shown that the use of an initiator permits studying the process with much lower radiating powers (i.e., lower temperatures), i.e., it results in intensification of oxidative reactions
