Food waste treatment apparatus

Provided is a garbage disposer which can use microorganisms semi-permanently by using a PVA media, obtains fast garbage degradation rate by impellers slantly installed within an agitation tank, removes odor generated during degradation of garbage by water sprayed from a spray nozzle, and can drain water through a drain pipe directly connected to a drain plate. The garbage disposer(50) comprises: a cover(10) having a spray nozzle(11) formed on the center of the bottom thereof and a second nozzle connecting part(12) formed at one side of the spray nozzle; a case(20) which is connected to a lower part of the cover and has an operating panel(21) formed on the front thereof, a placement groove formed on an inner upper end thereof, and an inserting part(23) formed on a lower portion of the placement groove, wherein a cleaning valve(25) and a spray valve(26) connected to a faucet connecting part(24) and a first nozzle connecting part(27) connected to the spray valve are formed at one side of the inserting part; an "U" character shaped agitation tank(30) which has a placement part(31) formed on an upper end thereof, a perforated part formed on a curved surface portion(32) of the bottom thereof, an agitation shaft(34) penetratingly formed on both sides thereof, and a plurality of impellers(35) formed therein such that the impellers are angled to a horizontal axis of the agitation shaft at a predetermined angle of 44 to 48 degrees; and a drain plate(40) which is installed in a lower part within the case, and on which a cleaning nozzle(41) and a drain pipe(42) are formed.
