A SIMPLE MODEL FOR PREDICTING SKIN DOSE FOR PATIENTS UNDERGOING ROUTINE CHEST X-RAY EXAMINATIONS

In this work, the predicted skin doses of patients undergoing routine medical examinations were carried out at Federal Medical Centre, Makurdi. Measurements were also made using phantoms and Thermo-Luminescence Dosimeter (TLD) in place of patients in order to compare the results obtained.
