Adsorption of petroleum products by coal of Ishidei deposit of Irkutsk region and semicoke from coals of the Irsha-Borodino and Lermontovka deposits
1995
Coal can be considered as a good, cheap adsorbent for waste streams including petroleum waste streams. The adsorption properties of coal of the Ishidei deposit and semicoke from coals of the Irsha-Borodino and Lermontovka deposits were compared with activated carbon. Diesel fuel and marine fuel oil produced by a petroleum refinery were used as adsorbates. 2 refs., 1 fig., 3 tabs.
