Modern Methods of Synthesis of Modified Glycerophospholipids

The advances in the synthesis of modified glycerophospholipids of different structure are surveyed. An attempt has been made at a general classification of these compounds. Questions concerning the problem of whether or not various methods of synthesis can be used on a preparative scale are examined. The bibliography includes 233 references.
