Grayscale grading method of matrix illumination system

The invention relates to a grayscale grading method of a matrix illumination system. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps that 1) grayscale levels are displayed by dividing or combining subsegments; 2) data is stored dynamically on the basis of a grayscale level display result; 3) the dynamically stored data is used to realize video display in a displacement latch method; and 4) a subsegment division or combination scheme is adjusted according to a video display result. According to the grayscale grading method of the matrix illumination system, voltage and current waveforms satisfying certain time sequence requirements are applied to different LED modules of the matrix illumination system, and the matrix illumination system can display videos and images.
