Thyroid in Ovary! The Consequence in a Case of Mucinous Cystadenocarcinoma Ovary

Purpose Malignancy in struma ovarii is an exceptionally rare form of ovarian tumor with incidence of 0.1–0.3% of all ovarian teratomas. There is no definitive consensus on appropriate management of these cases. The prognosis of thyroid-type carcinoma arising in struma ovarii is difficult to estimate due to its rarity and the absence of consensus in treatment.
