The goal of the work is to establish the characteristics of self-expression culture of future teachers acquired over the period of university studies. It was achieved by analyzing the peculiarities of communicative tolerance. Such a possibility was first predicted and proven. The research used the methodology allowing to describe the qualities of communicative tolerance of future teachers. Identified qualities were compared with the author’s view of the culture of teacher’s self-expression. It consists of the definition of this phenomenon via self-organized activities and its gradually developing characteristics. Such an approach allowed to note that the culture of self-expression of future teachers is in the initial phase of its development. It is unstable and prone to changes. It includes readiness not to limit self-expression of children, to adapt to their habits, tolerance to their imperfections, errors. On the other hand, it is the tendency to ignore educational work with children, flatness, conservatism, inability to make contact. Obtained results can be useful to the university tutors when organizing work with the students. Future teachers can use this as a basis for development of their professional activities. Scientific pedagogical society receives information in order to understand the phenomenon of the culture of self-expression and its characteristics.
