The analysis of encephalofluctuograph technology in diagnosis of patients with schizophrenia recurrence complicated with esophageal cancer

2015
Objective To explore the clinical and encephalofluctuograph technology(ET) characteristics for patients with schizophrenia recurrence complicated with esophageal cancer. Methods Clinical and ET characteristics of one case of merger mania schizophrenia relapsed patient with esophageal cancer after esophageal resection were retrospectively analyzed, and the literatures were reviewed. Results Two days before the operation, r-aminobutyric acid (S1), acetylcholine receptor (S3), 5-HT (S4), acetylcholine (S5), norepinephrine (S7), dopamine (S11) were 7Hz, 36Hz, 26Hz, 9Hz, 10Hz, 4Hz respectively in ET.Compared with preoperation, the value of r-aminobutyric acid, acetylcholine, norepinephrine, dopamine increased in ET ten days after the operation while the value of acetylcholine receptor, 5-HT decreased. The value of glutamic acid and dopamine increased in ET a month after the operation, while r-aminobutyric acid, acetylcholine receptor, acetylcholine decreased compared with those in ET ten days after operation. After the operation, the value of neurotransmitters in ET two months after the operation showed that acetylcholine receptor, 5-HT, acetylcholine and dopamine increased, while glutamic acid, r-aminobutyric acid and norepinephrine decreased. The value of acetylcholine and dopamine in ET at three months after the operation increased compared with those in ET at two months after the operation, while norepinephrine decreased. Conclusions The schizophrenia recurrence leads to deterioration of mental illness.ET is noninvasive and simple and it can provide evidence of clinical dynamic observation and prevent recurrence in patients with schizophrenia.
