Helical CT imaging of the hip joints

Helical (spiral) CT provides enhanced capabilities over those with conventional CT. We use helical CT for diagnosis and preoperative simulation. This approach provides exquisite detail of the anatomical structures of the osseous tissue surrounding the hip. We describe here the findings in our patients for whom helical CT was used.
