Einfluss der Trainingsbehandlung auf die Ermüdung von Ni-Ti-Formgedächtnislegierungen

Due to the increasing research activity on shape memory alloys (SMA), a lot of new interesting applications have been found. Therefore it is very important to know as much technical details as possible about this structural material, especially concerning the changes of the functional properties during lifetime. The objective of this work was to study the behavior of Ni-Ti shape memory alloys under thermomechanical load, influenced by different training conditions and external forces. A new testing unit was designed to investigate the fatigue behaviour of wire specimens during thermomechanical cycling. Further it was investigated, how the heating rate influences the strain during training procedure.
