For hanging hook

1994
PURPOSE: To strike a nail into a wall surface consisting of a gypsum board in such a way that the nail is not likely to slip off by providing a fixing plate with a part bulging from the rear to the front surface, and furnishing this bulging part with a plurality of nail holes in such a way as directed downward aslant relative to the wall surface. CONSTITUTION: In that part of a fixing plate 1 nearer the upper edge, a part 3 bulging from the rear to the front surface and having a triangular longitudinal section is formed across the fixing plate 1 in the horizontal direction. Nail holes 4 directed downward aslant relative to the wall surface are formed in the parts nearer the left and right sides of that nearer the left and right sides of the bulge 3 slope running from the ridge of the bulge 3 to the upper edge of the fixing plate 1. Other nail holes 4 perpendicularly intersecting the wall surface A are formed in the central part of the flat portion above the bulge 3 and in the parts nearer the left and right sides of the other flat portion under the bulge 3. According to this configuration, nails 5 driven into the holes 4 in the bulge 3 are directed downward aslant relative to the wall surface A while nails 5 driven into the holes 4 in the flat portions are directed perpendicularly to the wall surface A.
