Coptus Wollaston (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Cossoninae): A genus new to China with descriptions of two new species

The genus Coptus Wollaston is recorded for the first time in mainland China with the description of two new species, Coptus brevirostris sp. nov, and Coptus vitreous sp. nov. A key to the known species from the Palearctic and Oriental regions of the genus is presented and illustrations of diagnostic features of the new species are provided.
