Clinical application of calcium agents in the treatment of mild or moderate pregnancy-induced hypertension

2010
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of calcium agents in the treatment of mild or moderate pregnancy-induced hypertension.Methods:50 cases of mild or moderate pregnancy-induced hypertension in our hospital from March 2007 to December 2009 were selected, randomly divided into treatment group and control group,a pill calcium carbonate and vita min D3 were given one time a day in experimental group,5-10 mg nifedipine was given in control group, adjust the treat ment dose according to the level of the blood pressure,to observe the average of the blood pressure and proteinuria and do statistics analysis about the results. Results:After 2 weeks treatment, the MAP,proteinuria decreased and the content of calcium in serum increased, the effective rate were 92% and 80%,there was a statistical significance in two groups(P0.05).Conclusion:Nifedipine is always used for treatment of pregnancy-induced hypertension, but there is more adverse effect, bad compliance in patients, scarcely adverse effect when used calcium agents at the same time offering adequate calcium source,so add calcium agents should be considered as an preferred measure in the treatment of mild or moderate pregnan cy-induced hypertension.
