Cathode-ray tube and application liquid for display plane thereof

PURPOSE: To provide a CRT by which a glare proof effect can be obtained without spoiling a quality of a regenerated image and which has an antistatic property. CONSTITUTION: A glare proof film 2 having surface roughness of R max ≤0.3μm and R z ≤0.2μm is formed on a front panel 1 of a CRT by means of a spray injection. The glare proof film 2 is formed in a two-layer structure, and a black dye-contained visible radiation absorbing layer 2a is formed on the surface of the panel 1, and a metallic oxide-contained antistatic layer 2b is formed on the surface.
