An ODA based system for standardized exchange of medical documents

This paper describes a system for exchange of medical documents by means of the communication standards X.400 and ODA. The first section gives an overview of the system. Then a brief overview of ODA is given and the suitability of ODA as a basis for a standard for exchange of health care information is discussed. In the third section, the current state of our prototype implementation is presented.
