Ion-channel remodeling mechanism in atrial fibrillation

Atrial fibrillation(AF) is the most common persistent tachyarrhythmia.The ion channel remodeling is the main mechanism of atrial electrical remodeling.Different sodium channels,potassium channels and calcium channels are very important during the process influencing atrial electrical remodeling.The change of ion channel is the effect of AF and also the electrophysiological foundation of persistent AF.
