The Interaction of CuZn-superoxide Dismutase and Salicylic Acid

The interaction of CuZn superoxide dismudase (SOD) and salicylic acid (SA) by the enzyme activity was studied. Meanwhile, the static fluorescence quenching mechanism revealed that the complex of CuZnSOD with salicylic acid was formed. The binding constant was obtained from lineweaver-burk and double-lg plot. The distance of active site was about 2.60 nm calculated according to Forster theory.
