El nuevo sistema de emisiones de vehículos WLTP y su incidencia en el Impuesto Especial sobre Determinados Medios de Transporte

espanolEl presente trabajo tiene por objeto reflexionar acerca de las consecuencias que, dentro del ambito de la fiscalidad del automovil y, en particular, dentro del IEDMT, va a plantear la entrada definitiva en vigor, a partir del 1 de enero de 2021, del nuevo sistema de homologacion de vehiculos en Europa tras la aprobacion en su dia del Reglamento (UE) 2017/1151. La reforma operada determina que un mismo vehiculo pase a reflejar unos consumos y un volumen de emisiones distintos a los que se venian reflejando con el sistema de homologacion anterior. EnglishThe present paper aims to reflect on the consequences that, within the scope of automobile taxation and, in particular, within the IEDMT, will propose the definitive entry into force, as of January 1, 2021, of the new vehicle homologation system in Europe after the approval of Regulation (EU) 2017/1151. The reform carried out determines that the same vehicle begins to reflect consumption and a volume of emissions different from those that were reflected with the previous homologation system.
