Novel High Transmittance Terahertz Microfluidic Chip and Terahertz Spectrum Analysis of Different Solutions

In this paper, a double-layer terahertz microfluidic chip is fabricated using a cyclic olefin copolymer (COC) material with high transmittance to terahertz waves, and combined with terahertz time-domain spectroscopy to study 5 kinds of sodium salt the terahertz spectrum characteristics of the solution. The results show that the terahertz spectral intensity characteristics of electrolyte solutions composed of different anions and the same cation are different, so that the spectral characteristics of other electrolyte solutions can be inferred from the spectral information of these detected ions.
