Fuzzy Control of the Polymerizer Start Process in the Production of Bottle-Making

The paper considers the use of fuzzy set theory to control technological objects on the example of the polymerizer start control system in the production of bottle-boiler. Based on the analysis of the technological regulations, as well as the actions of operators, carrying out the launch of polymerizers in manual mode, the control impacts and output coordinates to be regulated have been identified. In addition, it made it possible to create many inputs and output linguistic variables, for which the functions of belonging were defined and the basis of the rules of the fuzzy output system was formed. Further, the work considers the sequential stages of the synthesis of the fuzzy output system, which include: phasing out input variables; Aggregation of sub-terms in fuzzy product rules; Activation or composition of sub-conclusions in fuzzy product rules; accumulating fuzzy product rules and defuzzification output variables. All of the above allowed to develop a model of the fuzzy output system and to draw up a structural scheme of the closed polymerizer launch control system. As a result, there were exit processes that characterized the automatic output of the polymerizer to the required working point, the analysis of which led to the conclusion that the actual application of the developed control system is appropriate.
