Astma ciężka – leczenie biologiczne omalizumabem – opis przypadku

Abstract A patient with long-lasting atopic asthma, allergic rhinitis, chronic idiopathic urticaria, decreased lung function, complaints of recurrent day and night symptoms, and exacerbations that need systemic GKS often visits the ER departments. During chronic treatment, the patient used a large dose of GKS and LABA, which were inhaled. The patient's condition changed after initiating treatment with omalizumab. We achieved clinical improvement, confirmed by the spirometry results, and reduction of intensity of asthma and urticaria with treatment.
